ggN is the umbrella network, which is intended to bridge the gaps between academic/research institutions and the field-based practicing organizations. There are three Google Groups: Mountain Ecosystems & Resource Management; Natural Resources Law & Governance; Pastures & Pastoralism. Grassroots Global Network (ggN) performs networking not only to promote the TGI and its offshoots but also advocates on different issues. To accomplish the purpose, partnerships are cultivated with a variety of organizations.
