An Important Step in Strengthening Cooperation!

On March 17, 2025, Grassroots Institute and the Faculty of Law of Uzhhorod National University officially solidified their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation!

What does this mean?

• New opportunities for joint research, educational programs, and initiatives in law, environmental governance, and sustainable development.
• Organization of joint scientific and educational events, trainings, conferences, summer schools, and more.
• Engagement of young professionals in practical initiatives.
• Implementation of international experience in environmental policy and law.

We strive to unite the efforts of science and civil society to introduce progressive legal solutions and train a new generation of specialists.

We firmly believe that this memorandum will serve as a strong foundation for effective collaboration, unlocking new opportunities for students, researchers, and society as a whole. Through joint efforts, we will implement even more initiatives aimed at environmental protection, strengthening legal mechanisms, and preparing the next generation of professionals.

It is worth noting that a similar memorandum had previously been signed between The Grassroots Institute (Canada) and the Faculty of Law of UzhNU. This new memorandum represents another step in strengthening our organization and expanding partnerships with academic institutions.
